Looking for any information concerning the First National Bank of Rich Hill or Bates County National Bank (Butler). Both of these banks were in business in the late 1800s through about 1910. Does anyone know the address or location of these banks when they were in business, or any other information about them? Would like to find a photo if possible, does anyone know where they might exist? I am connected to the families that ran these banks. I am very familar with the Bank of Holden, which they also established. Diarist Perry Burgess was the president of the Rich Hill bank and Lewis Cheney ran the Bates Co. bank until his death in 1885. ANy ideas where I could get photos or where they once were located??
