I am having trouble finding any info on this couple, just the bare bones (no pun intended!)I would like to have the month and day for birth and death. I am also missing the wedding date and location. Deane (pronounced Deena)Banke was born in 1892 near Altona, Bates Co., MO and died May 7, 1935 when she was about 42 or 43 years old. She married Walter L. Harrison who was born in 1887 and died in 1920 at only 33 years of age. Deane was the daughter of Louisiana Davis, born March 7, 1867 in OH and died nearly 3 years after Deane on May 2, 1938 at Altona, MO. Her husband, Wm. Henry Banke was born April 1, 1865 at Poplar Bluff, MO and died May 10, 1927 at Altona, MO. (May seemed to be a pretty bad month for them!) Loue and Henry were married March 27, 1887 in Johnstown, Bates Co., MO. Does anyone know who Walter L. Harrison's parents were? I am assuming they were probably from the same area near Altona/Adrian/Butler, MO perhaps? Please email me at: settersrus@earthlink.net if you have info about either of these families.
