Rathbun Funeral Home records state: Amanda Swearengin widow of James. b. 19 Aug. 1874, d. 19 Nov. 1937, dau. of Wm. Jackson b. TN and Mary Cunningham b. MO, buried at Union Chapel.

Amanda's stone says she died Nov. 19, 1937. Probably a typo in the book I got the funeral home record from.

I have Jackson anscestors from Tennessee also. James "Curley Jim" Swearengin was the younger brother of my gg-grandfather Levi Swearengin. Their mother was Sarah Caroline (Jackson) Swearengin b. 1810 in Jackson Co., TN d. 1879 in Douglas Co., MO.

Are you descended from Joseph Azariah? I have the names of Amanda's 7 children and most of their dates and spouses.
