Ok, not much there but here's what we have:
SHUMAKE, SARAH, dec. filed 27, May 1895; #1716: Bond: $200; H. J. Mathena, principal; Leonard Ford and S. Neeper,MD, Securities.
The bond was disapproved by Probate Judge J. M. Hayes; dated 29 June 1895; Oath: Sarah Shumake died intestate, 23 May 1895, leaving heirs: Howard J. Mathena, Mariah L. Mathena, A. W. Mathena, Eva Ritter, Mary O. Vandriff, Dora Mathena, and William Mathena (relationship is not given) Signed, H. J. Mathena (signed w/X); Witness, O. S. Callahan
Application for letters: 27 May 1895; (1 page) lists same heirs except surname is spelled MATHEY & VANDRUFF. There is nothing else in the packet.
(if this is yours, and you want copies, it'd take 2 pages to copy & it's 25 cents per copy if she copies for you and sends it back in SASE, if you send to get it they charge 1.00 I think and you need the SASE for them too)
Will check some other records but it may take some time - weather up that way has been pretty yucky and the lady doing this lives out on a farm and has to drive to town.
