Susie McMillin is listed as a niece. I know it says Edaline (Adeline) is 20 but I think she's actually 30(at least 30 lol). According to her age in the 1930 census she was born about 1851 - makes her about 14 when she married William.
William P Taylor is also listed in 1890 Vet census, in Clark Co. He was a Priv, Co D, 25th IN Inf.

Calvin is in Lee Co IA in 1900, in L.A. in 1910, 1920 and 1930. In 1930 Adeline is living with Calvin, listed as a widow.
In all the census records Adeline is listed as white. Her parents in most census look to be born in France.
Will do some additional checking and post back if I can find anything else that might help.
