Well, there definitely is a marriage for an Albert R Harper and Miss Lucy C Davis, 30 Apr 1851, by Andrew Greenlee, MG.

In 1850 Peter and Albert Harper were residing near Nancy Butts - she happens to be related to my step-father, and they lived not far from where my mother now resides. She has done a lot of research on the family (for over 30 yrs) and knows the area pretty well (recognizes family names).

Do you find Albert in 1860? How about Peter? I assume you've traced his family through census?
