Need help finding obituary -- PUGH

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to find an obituary for Franklin PUGH, b. 9 Feb 1807, d. 14 Jan 1886 in Clinton Co., MO, buried in Antioch Cemetery, Gower, MO, and his wife Elizabeth Shupe PUGH, b. 18 Apr 1809, d. 28 May 1895 in Clinton Co., MO, also buried in Antioch Cemetery, Gower, MO.

Can anyone suggest what newspapers their obituaries might have appeared in? Do any local or regional libraries or historical societies hold these newspapers? I can write to the State Historical Society but think it would be quicker to work through a local group or library.

Any suggestions gratefully received!
