Funeral services were held at the Christian church at 2'oclock this afternoon, conducted by Rev. J.W. Kilborn. The body was taken to Osborn for interment. Services at the cemetery were conducted by members of the Grand Army. Thomas Nicholas married Mary Jane Colwell, daughter of Henry Colwell and Elizabeth Dawson, on 23 September 1864 in Stark County, Illinois. Mary was born on 9 March 1843 in Stark County, Illinois and died on 6 January 1928 in Cameron, Clinton County, Missouri at age 84. She is buried in Osborn Evergreen Cemetery, Osborn Missouri, Clinton County. Thomas Nicholas died of a stroke of paralysis according to his obituary and he lived on North Walnut Street in Osborn Missouri also according to his obituary. At this writing the funeral arrangements had not been made. Deceased has been here visiting his daughter, Mrs. Witt, and another daughter, Mrs. Harry Groves, of Cameron, this winter. He had been in poor health for some time. He spent a short time this winter visiting a son, Ralph, in Pocotella, Idaho. He also leaves to mourn his loss two other daughters in Florida. Column 7 Ed Nicholas Dies of Heart Attack Mr. Ed Nicholas, old and highly regarded resident, passed away this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, following a heart attack in his home. Deceased had not been well for some time but was able to attend his duties at the Fletcher Barber shop until recently.
