On the 1870 census of Clinton Co., MO is listed a Mary Reed 56 born KY, with Catherine Campbell age 80 born Maryland, and Watson Reed 15 in house.
What I am looking for is a Catherine (Kate)Watson who was married to a John Campbell. She should be about that age. They had a son John Watson Campbell born 1822 in NC. I cannot find John 1822 until he moved to Dade Co., MO in 1850, and maybe Polk before that. John Watson Campbell had at least two brothers Daniel born TN 1828 and James born 1831 TN.
The Campbell and grandson Watson made me take a closer look. Thanks, Carol
