Is this your family? I am hoping to find some descendants of this family that knows where they came from in Germany. I believe that my great grandmother, Kungundia Englebrecht, came from the same town. I know the general area, the providence where she came from but there are hundreds of churches in the area.

What I find interesting is that my great grandmother's parents were John and Anna (Bauer) Engelbrecht, as listed on her marriage record in the local church. I have no idea that this is the same couple. She did not come to the US with them though. She came with a Vogel family which also has members in Cole County!

All a big mystery. Soon to be published in the Missouri State Genealogical Association Journal!
