William G. Simmons born 1795 in Ky maybe Barren co. Ky. died in Cole Co. Mo. sometime before 1850 as he is not listed in the 1850 Cole Co. Mo. census but his wife is listed .
Moved to Cole Co. Mo sometime after 1835 his wife Nancy unknown also came with him to Mo. along with most of his children
tThere is land patents for Cole Co. Mo. William G. Simmons is listed 4 times 1835,1840,1840 and 1843
there was also Joel Y. Simmons , John H. Simmons , Jordan H. ,Naysa W. and Wiley J. Simmons all sons .

his children are listed as
Wiley J., Nacy or Naysa W. ,John H. Jordan,Joel Yancy,William S. , Nancy cCatherine,Henry G. , Martha A. , Noah N. most born in Ky. the younger ones in Mo.
fFrom the names of his children like Naysa,Noah, Jordan and Wiley I belive they came from the simmons family in Fountain Run Ky where the first Naysa Simmons lived if any one has any info on this simmons line email breezefrm@earthlink.net
