I am hoping to cantact an older person who might remember something about the Russells of Cole, Miller & Pulaski Counties, MO. 1828-1920. I am looking for Nathaniel/Nathan/Naith/Nate/Nace Russell, father of John W. Russell of Miller County. John W. was a noted outdoorsman and hunter. His hunting companion was Fred Thomas.
In Pulaski County there was John E Russell, Alonzo A Russell, Edwin H Russell, William E Russell, and William H Russell - all buried in Dixon Cemetery.
In Cole County (Alexander) Mayfield Russell and Susan "Sukie" (Russell) Pitchford. She is buried in Allen Cemetery, Miller County.
In Miller County, of contemporary memory there were granduncles Elmer, Nate, Hugh, Thomas "Tom" and in the previous generation John B Russell buried Eldon Cemetery), NATHAN Russell, ggrandfather JOHN W Russell Freedom Cemetery, Maries County), grandfather JOHN F Russell buried in Franklin County, probably at or near Sullivan), and THOMAS S Russell.
