Great Grandmother Nancy Wooldridge, daughter of Edmund Wooldridge, married William R. Wells of Lamine, Boonville area...Oct. 1829.
William's father was, Yelverton P. Wells b. 1807 and Mother, Jane P. Pash...daughter of John Pash of Louden Va.
Yelverton died some time around 1849, possibly in January ? and Jane then married Stanard Webb...May 1849. A friend of Yelverton's from Virginia...also a Widower.
Does anyone know of any major happening in Lamine around January of 1849? Illness or Indian problems? What happened to Yelverton and his 2 sons that January day 1849?
