Looking for information on John Nelson(?) and Mary "Ellen" Myers who lived in Jackson County MO during the late 1800s. Original spelling of John's name was Moyers, but changed spelling to Myers sometime before/around 1900. Lived in Tarsney and Blue Springs,MO, Boonville MO and moved to California circa 1912. They are buried in Blue Springs Cem. in Jackson Co., MO. Known children include: Luther, Frank, Charles, Dora (married Alley), Minnie (married Herring), Carey. Two children Effa and Cleo died young and are also buried in Blue Springs. John was supposedly born in MO circal 1846. Mary Ellen's records show MO and Neb as birth places. She died 1920/21. John died 1923 in Kansas City. At one time, sons Luther and Carey lived in Detroit, MI.
