Is President George W. Bush's GGG-grandfather, William Gault Wear, buried at the Otterville IOOF cemetery alongside his wife, Sarah Yancy Wear, who died on 5 December 1879 in Otterville (Cooper Co.) MO.? The MOGenWeb website for Cooper County only lists Sarah as being buried at this cemetery and I can't find William's burial location listed at this or any other cemetery in Cooper County.
According to a 2001 article published by the Ozarks Genealogy Society in its "Ozar'kin" publication about President George H.W. Bush's ancestors in Missouri, William Gault Wear died around 1900 in Eureka Springs (Carroll Co.) AR and was buried at Cassville (Barry Co.) MO, but I believe that this burial location is incorrectly identified. William and Sarah's daughter, Mildred Wear Bryan, did live in Cassville at the time of her father's death and is buried in the Oak Park cemetery there, but I've not found any listing of William's burial in this or any other cemetery in Barry Co. MO. Any specific information about Wear's life and death would be appreciated.
