Hello,Elmita.What a pretty name.
Well,I saw your message # 247 on this site about William Gensler who married Mary Warden in Ohio and moved to Illinois and some of their children moved on to Cooper Co.,Mo.
I believe my greatgrandmother Julia Warden lived with a family named Grove in Licking Co.,Ohio,in 1850 as a servant in their home when she was 14.We find Julia and the Grove family in LaSalle Co.,Illinois,in 1860 and she is still a servant in their home.Then in 1864 she married William Burns in LaSalle Co.,Illinois,and they moved to Mercer Co.,Mo. and then later to Benton Co.,Mo. and possibly Cooper Co. as well.So I am hoping you may know something about the Mary Warden who married Wm.Gensler,such as the names of her parents or something.Maybe there is a clue to my Julia Warden!!!!!
