Frank: Thanks for your reply!! We are certainly shirttail cousins!!! I'm from the following:

My Thompson Grisham m. Polly Ann (Mary?) Wheeler, 1835
Then, their son John T. (Thompson or Tatum) Grisham marr. Sarah E. Lawrence, 1873
My grandfather was Samuel Calvin Grisham and he marr. Nora Lee Thompson in 1905...etc. etc.

I clearly recall "uncle" Sam Wheeler and many of his children that used to come to our huge family picnics in the 1940S!! Then we just seemed to have lost track as we kids grew older!

Let me know what's going on with your kin, and if we can match up some notes. Do you happen to know what came of any of the Thurman clan?? I'm trying to follow out a "DNA, mitochondrial" lineage, IF possible!! And that would be the Thurmans, thru my grandmother.
