James Irwin Rutheford's death certificate is viewable online at the Missouri State Archives and list the follwing information:

James Irwin Rutheford, male, white, married.

b. Oct. 12, 1847, in Ireland d. July 6, 1915, Center Township Dade County, Missouri, occupation: farming, buried Greenfield Cemetery, July 7, 1915, father John Rutheford, b. Scotland, mother Mary Miller, b. Scotland. Death certificate signed July 7, 1915 by John Rutheford.

A search of the site shows no spelllings of Rutherford only the no second r spelling. The following link is for the searchable database.
