I am working on a book/papper about Amos Piatt Helphenstine b. 5 May 1837, Greene County, Pennsylvania d. 13 Feb 1914, Dade County, Missouri, Married 10 Mar 1868, Crawsfordsville, Indiana to Sarah Jane Newton b. Jul 1840, Farmington, Van Buren, Iowa, d. 1910, Dade County, Missour. Both are burried in the Greenfield Cemetery in Greenfield, Dade County, Missouri, along with their only two childre, daughters that never married. The last one to pass was his daughter Anne "Annie" Laurie. The last record I have of her is the 1930 census and she is in a boarding house in Jackson County. 1930 U. S. I am looking for a photo of Amos specifically but would love one of each family member. I am willing to pay for copies and postage. Also, any personal correspondance would be lovely as well. I have photos of the A. Helphenstine buidling on the public square in Greenfield, a Goodspeed bio., a profile photo of his wife in a group of identified people, tombstone and family plot photos and miscellaneous remarks from books of transcribed newspaper items.
