My mother and her father always kept clippings from the newspaper. I am posting them in hopes that they will help someone.
Funeral services for three-year-old Willard Eugene Jones, Jr., whose body was found Sunday morning 2 1/2 miles east of the family farm located seven miles south of Lebanon,(MO) after the boy had been missing since Jan. 17, will be held at 2:30 p.m. today in White Oak Pond Church.
Officiating will be the Rev. Bill England. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of Palmer of Lebanon.
The lad is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Eugene Jones; five sisters, Betty, Nancy, Lois, Mary and Donna; one brother, Tommy Joe and two half-brothers, Wilbert and Wilfred, all of the home; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Winwitty of Lebanon and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Lola Haas of Lebanon.
