Seeking info. re; Hiram J. STANLEY -m- Hannah BALLEW 27 Feb 1843 Grundy Co., MO. Listed 1860 Eden Twp. Decatur Co., IA census with children Eben (Ebin) age 16, Emily age 14, Squire age 10, Abraham (Abram) age 7, and Sarah age 3. Other children may have been Houston, Issac and Ann (Anna). This family may have ties to Princeton and Mill Grove, Mercer Co., MO.
Mercer Co., MO 1880 census lists Abram W. STANLEY age 27, b. IA, grocer with wife Theresa age 26 and son Roy age 1 mo. living Princeton. Also living in Princeton in same census is Squire STANLEY age 20. Squire STANLEY may have -m-Deborah MUNDELL after 1880 census was taken. Sarah Hilliance STANLEY may have -m- William HOLMES.
Princeton Cemetery records list STANLEY, Abram W. 1852-1923; on the same stone is Theresa STANLEY 1854-1925.
Any info. appreciated. I believe I may descend from this STANLEY family through Hiram J. and Hannah's daughter Emily b. abt. 1846 IA, -m- John C. Minter of Washington Twp., Mercer Co., MO. Seeking more info. to document. Thank you!
