Mary - I am on the board of the Paisley Family Society. Saw your query and wanted you to know that I do have information on your family. I have that Tazwell Pasley was b. January 17,. 1874, in Readsville, Callaway Co., MO. He m. Macie A. Oliver in Callaway Co., Mo. on September 12, 1894. They had the following children: Mabel, Isaac, Guy, Eva Fae and Edris. Tazwell's father was Solomon Tazwell Pasley, b. July 15, 1836, Franklin Co., TN. He d. Callaway Co. MO, Oct. 7, 1875, and is buried in Old Salem Cemetery, Callaway Co. MO. He m. October 11 1861 Mary Elizabeth "Bettie" Kemp. Solomon went with his father to MO from VA. There were 15 wagon loads of their belongings brought with them. Solomon and Bettie had the following children: Elven Price Pasley, Larkin Solomon Pasley, Henry Clay Pasley, Martha A. Victory Pasley, Charles Wheeler Pasley, and Tazwell Pasley. Solomon was the son of Solomon Tazwell and Mary Kemp Pasley.
Solomon Tazwell was the son of Robert Pasley and Sarah "Sally" Forbes. Solomon and Millie's children were: Frances Hayden Pasley, Martha H. Pasley, John M. Pasley, Lewis D. Pasley, Sarah M. Pasley, Fleming Reid Pasley, Callohill M. Pasley, Mildred K. Pasley, Byer Obiah Pasley, *Solomon Tazwell Pasley, Robert Alexander Pasley, Jordan P. Pasley and Tipton T. Pasley.
Robert and Sallie's children were: Mary, Sarah, Nancy, Susannah, Joanna, Katherine, Rachel, William, Heziah/Keziah, Rhoda, Robert, *Solomon Tazwell, John Wesley, Thomas and Lucy.
Robert was a Jr., and was b. April 3, 1746 in Goochland County, VA.
He was the son of Robert Pasley, Sr. and Mary Watson.
Robert Sr. was the son of William Pasley and Frances. Robert d. 1775 in Goochland Co. VA and was m. 1739 to Mary Watson.
William was b. July 26, 1696, New Kent Co. VA and was m. ca 1717 to Frances. Children: Robert, William, Thomas, Augustine, Solomon, Dubartes, Henry and Bess. He was the son of Robert Pasley and Eleanor. He d. after 1751 in New Kent Co. Va and served in the French and Indian War under General Braddock.
Robert was the son of William and ???. William was b. ca 1635. He d. Feb. 17 Feb. 1690 in New Kent Co., VA.
