Here is a link to the Missouri Death Index which provides images of death certificates 1910-1956. Thomas Jefferson Goodman is listed as T. J. Goodman, died Springfield, Greene Co. MO. The death certificate gives the name of the cemetery, but I can't read it. The certificate gives the name of his mother as Ellen Hilton. Since she was born in 1840 and he was born in 1861, that makes more sense.

I'll see if I can find Ellen Hilton's death listed in Texas.
