Joseph RODEMEYER, who resides with his wife and son at 1313 Mallinckrodt street, was arraigned in the Second District Court, yesterday morning, on a charge of beating his wife. His son, a lad about twelve years of age, testified that his father was a bad lot. A trap was set for him on Tuesday, and Officer HALEY caught him in the act of beating his wife most unmercifully. Yesterday morning Judge DENISON sent him down on the fine of $200.
