Death certificate for William E. Gere, died Sept. 1906, Advance MO

I am looking for an offical death record for Capt. William E. Gere, b about 1825, prob in NY. He died in Sept. 1906 in Advance, Stoddard Co., MO. His wife Mary survived him. He is buried with family members in Alton IL. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am especially interested in confirming his parents' names, which I believe to be Jabez and Lydia Gere/Geer, as well as his birthdate and place. I have extensive information on his family and descendants that I would be happy to share.
