We are related to William Luther (Lute) and Caroline (Carrie) Porter Howard. They had one son, my husband's father, William Arlo - born 1910 in Colorado Springs, CO. - died 1995 Boulder City, NV.
Carrie had been married before to Lawrence Edward Hull and had five children: Four sons - Roy b.1890
Charles Ross b.1892
Lloyd b.1897
Guye Lawrence b.1897
...and one daughter - Opal b.1899
We have begun to go through two large trunks full of photographs of the Howard, Porter, Hull, (etc.) families and have come to big dead ends because 90% of these precious photos from the late 1800's to 1950's have NO names or dates!
If any of the names above match names in your family please contact me and we will give you copies of these photos, plus, perhaps some of our mystery can be solved.
