Here are Alexander and Isabella in 1850. On Ancestry they are indexed as Jacite but the name looks more like Lacite to me.

The Joseph that Constance found is a closer match to your Joseph Lasiter. The one above may be the Joseph P Lasiter who was also in Lawrence Co, MO in 1860.
