I am looking for a connection for my Vardemon Parker born in Tennessee with the Vardeman family surname. He shows up in the 1840 census in Calloway County, Kentucky and dies before 1850. His wife, Lucritia and five children survive him: Sarah A., William A., Bird, Wiley A, and Mary Jane. Sarah A. Parker married D. H Wyatt in Kentucky and the family moved to Missouri. Does any one know if some branch of the Vardemon family went to Tennessee and married into another family there? I suspect Vardamon Parker was the grandson of some [given name?] Vardeman. I believe that my Varda Arenz from Missouri got his given name from his connection with grandfather Vardamon Parker who in turn may have gotten his given name from a Vardaman connection. It is a stretch. Thanks for any suggestions from anyone.
