I'm looking for any information on the wife or descendants of Marquis Lafayette Hood.
Marquis is at home with his mother in the 1850 Federal Census (Greene County, Missouri).
The 1850 Census indicates Marquis was born about 1837. The 1860 Census indicates he was born about 1838 and his name is listed as Marcus.
After that, I have been unable to locate him or any descendants. Any help with this family would be greatly appreciated.
