Sorry it was late and I was trying to place several searches on different boards.
Seeking any information on ROBERTSON, Elmer born in St. Louis, Missouri 28 August 1898.
He moved to Arkansas, Clay county and was in the U. S. Army enlisted twice. Died in Jefferson Barracks 1937.
He was my grandfather!
Grandmother remarried and second husband tossed everything in trash from Elmer Robertson.
I have researched enough to get to Army records which was hard to do because most of those records burned in fire in St. Louis, Mo Archives & Records building.
I am seeking anything that can be found.
I have a street address of Layfette during enlistment and that he had a brother Clyde ROBERTSON.
