Paula, thanks! William Jasper Keaster has to be a relative of Jane L Keester Darcy, with an alternate spelling. With 18 years difference between their ages I would guess he would be Jane's paternal nephew--maybe.

Incidentally, I got word from a poster on the Illinois forum of a James Darcy (b. abt 1854) and a younger sister in Grant County, Arkansas, evidently for the 1870 census. They appeared to be living with a family with the name of Minor Green. I haven't been able to find those records yet.

Same poster (Judy) says WWI draft registration misspelled as Darey instead of Darcy, for both John and George Darcy.
Thanks to all who are helping.
Jay
