Hello!
I am interested in the family of John Henry Reed, who lived in Wellsville, Mo., married Agnes Ara Menter Holliday ca. 1863. They had eight children, four of whom survived. John's father was Thomas Reed who came to Hannibal, Mo., and settled in Middletown. I have not been able to locate anyone (else) descended from this line {This is my mother's paternal grandfather). I have dates of birth for children of John & Agnes,which I could share with interested parties; however, it is really, the detail of Thomas that I am looking for. His last wife was Matilda, but he also married Clarinda after Elizabeth Taylor (John's mom) died. Only Matilda came to Missouri...from Maryland. Some say he was from Baltimore...but I have found nothing except word-of mouth. I am "lost" with the life of Thomas.... Any suggestions? Thank you very much!
