A.V. Swearingen - b 1840 d 1915 - parents???

I am hoping to find information on A.V. Swearingen who was born in 1840 and died in 1915. He married a Margaret and had at least 2 children, Nanella & Elva. There is a L.W. Swearingen family residing next to the A.V. Swearingen family in the 1880 Census (Loutre, Montgomery Co., MO), so L.W. might also be a son of A.V.

Was A.V. Swearingen a son of Frances (Glover) Swearingen? Who was his father?
