I was born and raised in Maryville, Mo. In the late fifties and early sixties, my dad, Morroway Marsh, my brothers, Don and Ron, lived on E. Second St. We used to go to Laura St. Baptist. We would walk down E. First St. past an old cemetery and a small store. The store was ran by an old woman named Rosie. One day Dad took took use to get some penny candy. I stole some candy and dad caught me. He whipped my bottom and made me go back inside to appologize. I've often wondered who Rosie was. If anyone with knowledge of Maryville at that time would please let me know who she was.
