Hilgert born September 16 1814 in Luxemburg. Immigrated to the U.S. @ 1869 with wife Mary, and his children Nicholas, Joseph, John, Michael and Mary. At arriving in U.S. went 1st to Maryville Missouri his wife died shortley after immigrating buried at Cemetery in Maryville. John took his kids and moved to St Joseph. John died there July 10 1911.
