Dora filed for divorce Dec 16, 1926, and was granted uncontested divorce Feb 1, 1927.
According to the divorce papers they were married in Clarinda Feb 21, 1912 and lived together till Feb 21, 1924. Then Charles deserted her and she did not know where or how to contact him. No mention of children. He made no response to the published divorce proceedings.

Dora King Goforth, married Earl Beck, Aug 16, 1943 in Bedford, by Presbyterian Minister. No Friedrick or Goforth children's births recorded here.
Unable to find Charles and Dora on 1915 or 1920 Iowa census. I wonder if they were using assumed names, and he went on the lam.
