Somehow there has to be a connection with our families in Troup County. My line is James Mobley (b 1800 in Virginia); Washington P. Mobley (b. 1829 in GA); George W. Mobley (b. 1851 in Troup County). ALSO, many of my family is buried in Emmaus Church Cemetery (old and new) in Hogansville, Troup County, GA. My Aunt Ruth (Smith) whose mother was Aldora Mobley Smith is still a member of Emmaus Church. She is a hospice patience in Newnan, GA with Altizers (excuse the spelling) Disease. Also, many of my Smith family (with names of Wilson and Wiley) are buied in Emmaus Church Cemetery. I just wonder how much of a connection there is that I cannot find (yet).
