Hi, Doris. You have probably looked in the locked filing cabinets at Old Buncombe Genealogical Society, and found Abel and Margaret Hill's information. They are my several times double great grand parents. They are the parents of Margaret Hill Harrison. Margaret is buried beside her husband Joseph Harrison, Rev. war soldier, at Newfound Baptist Cemetary in Leicester, NC. Their daugheres Rachael Harrison Snelson Miller, and Jane Harrison Cassada are my several times great grand mothers, as well as aunts. Also, I placed an article in A Lot of Buncombe, giving Betty Hulse the correct information regarding who the family members are, and how they decend from Joseph and Margaret. It is only recently that I discovered the connection to the Mobley, Hills, Johnston, and Waggoner families. Do you have any data about how the families met and traveled into South Carolina? Thanks, Doris
