I have just started looking into Mobley family. Sarah Catherine Mobley Lister was my Grgrandmother. I think that Robert Mobley was her father. I am not yet sure if I am on the right track. I have a Robert Mobley in the Civil war. He served in the 9th Ohio Cavalry. This jives with our oral family history. He enlisted 10-27-1862, and mustered out at Lexington, NC on 7-20-1865. I am unsure yet if this is my ancestor, so any help would be appreciated.
