Nettie, Hi. I am the grand-daughter of John William and Celia (Girtman)Lewis. Jaunita Lewis Bohr is my Mom. She was a good friend of your sister Juanita when they were in school. Mom remembers you as well. I have been researching Mom's family and have found quite a bunch of information on the internet, but I don't know how much of it to believe. If you would like to contact me my email address is ebohr@hit.net
I am a descendant of Middleton Mobley>Surrell Mobley> John Wiley Mobley> Amanda Mobley Girtman> Celia Girtman Lewis> Jaunita Lewis Bohr> Elizabeth Bohr (me)
We are also related on grandpa's side of the family Thomas Rawlings> John Ball Rawlings> Margaret Cathrine Rawlings> John William Lewis> Jaunita Lewis Bohr> Elizabeth Bohr (me)
John Ball Rawlings was a brother of Isaac Lewis Rawlings who was the father of Mary Minerva Rawlings who married John Adams Mobley.
To further confuse you my grandpa John William Lewis's first wife was Mary Ann Mobley the daughter of Middleton Thomas Mobley Jr. and Martha Virginia Ann Kerr. We believe in keeping it all in the family. Middleton Thomas Mobley Jr. and John Adams Mobley were brothers.
I don't know what that makes us but we are related.
