hi Phoebe,
From what I can tell Burrell Mansell is my gt.gt.gt.gt.
grandfather. The birthdate I have for him is 1795 in Fairfield County SC, he was married in jackson County, TN
in 1814 and died in 1830or 31 in McMinn County, TN.
Does this match what you have? Malinda, or Linda was his daughter.I believe this is how we are related.
I have been searching my family for a while now with varied results. One of my sons is graduating from HS this next spring. He is trying to apply for a scholarship thru the Sons of the Rev. We have to show the relation to the Rev War veteran. I have found more than I ever thought i would. Please let me know if this matches. you may email me direct a.e.moss@worldnet.att.net if you'd like.
Thanks,
Anne
