My name is Janine and I'm from Boston, Mass. I am a black young teenagaer who is trying to trace her family history. I don't mean to sound....weird or out of line....but everytime I look at pictures or look up something on the Mobley family...I get all pictures of white people. I'm not trying to be rude but....okay its lke this...
The Mobley family that I know....and the descendants of them...are from Chester, South Carolina. The matriarch of my family was Mrs. Maggie B. Canty Mobley, who was my great grandmother. She was the wife of John Berry Mobley and the mother of 9 children. 1 of which was my grandmother, Gladys Marie Mobley (later to be changed to Mosley, because of marriage). Most of my family is still located in Chester, SC. But those of us who are descendants of the Mobley family also live in Boston, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Carlisle(SC), Baltimore, Virginia and so on...if this sounds anything like your family...PLEASE get in contact with me!!!!!
Thanx Alot!
