My father James Wallace Mobley was born in Itasca (Hill County) TX 12/20/06. Oldest child of Oscar and Virgie Mobley (born Oct. 27, 1887), who were first cousins and Mobley was Virgie's maiden name. I have been unable to trace them back, so I am looking for anything that would connect them to William and Polly or any other Mobleys in Hill County in mid to late 1800s or early 1900. I have no proof, but I think the family came to Texas from Mississippi.
