Matt,

I have the same information that Carl Mobley posted in reply to your message.

Just wanted to say that I descend from Ledford Canfield Mobley and Lucinda Thorn Mobley. Sounds like you probably do too. Would love to exchange info with you. Are you named for their son Matt Mobley?

I've been to the cemetery at Saratoga, AR and found the old headstones, broken and half buried. I corresponded with Ray Mobley of Saratoga many years ago.

My connection is through my mother, Betty Clay Mobley Henderson. Her father was Euel Ernest Mobley. Then back to John Crittendon Mobley son of Ledford Canfield Mobley. I once saw a picture of Ledford Mobley. It was a newspaper clipping in possession of my great-uncle, Emmet Mobley. I wish I had a copy of that!

Cousin David Henderson
