Hi,

I came across a letter from the granddaughter of Samuel Anderson James and Mary Elizabeth Mobley. In it she states that Mary had a brother named Thomas who married Mattie. I know that quite often Mattie is a nickname for Martha. Also, the area is right. I'm just not sure of the years.

Mary E. Mobley was married in 1867 in Murray County, GA. The Thomas I know about was her brother's son. And so was likely born 1860's or later.

What parents did you have as possible for Thomas Mobley?

If this is of interest please contact me.

Sincerely,
Lisa Taylor
