Meridy Mobley & Rebecca

I have a fairly complete file on the decednents of Meridy (that is the spelling on his tombstone)Mobley and am trying to find something on his ancesters. As a guess, it looks like a possibility that his father is Ledford Mobley (William Moberly4,John3, John2, John1)but I have been unable to find anything about Ledford's decendents. It is pretty much of a guess but the ages are right, Ledford was shown in the 1820 Gwinnett Co Ga census with a male child under 10yrs old and Meridy was about 8 at that time. And this county was close to Paulding CO where Meridy later lived.

There was no tombstone for Rebecca near that of Meridy and I have no idea about her last name dates or ancesters.
