Just to recap what is in a previous posting ... my William Mobley was born in late 1849 or early 1850 in Georgia to Richard H. Mobley and Martha (White) Mobley.

For various reasons, I believe he ended up in Yell co., AR by 1880.

I'm trying to find someone who can prove or disprove this theory. So that I'll know my next step in finding any surviving cousins.

Richard H. Mobley did come from either North or South Carolina, according to the 1850 and 1860 census.
