Anyone researching this family? I believe Catherine to be Catherine Hood, d/o Rev. War soldier Matthew & wife Mary Hood of Lancaster/Waxhaw Dist., SC. Some list Mary's maiden name as Mary L. Smith of MD, but I don't know proof; on old DAR app.
