Thanks for the information. I am thrilled. It is a big help. Mahala was my great grandmother. She and Tennessee had 6 children. Their 4th, Beatrice, was my grandmother.
I have a birth date for Tennessee of 20 May 1858. I have been very curious of this couple since the first time I saw their names. He was married, briefly, before Mahala. Her name was Kenzetta Myers (another name I am curious about). She died young.
