Hi Patsy,
Sarah E. Mobley and Rev. Jos. Thos. Abernathy were my Gr Gr Grandparents. I know that they were all Methodists, and
Thos. Mobley's mother, Nancy Segrest, was the daughter of Rev.
Jacob Segrest, who was a preacher in (mostly) Macon Co., AL.
I know that they formerly lived somewhere around Mobile, (according to my father). Possibly one of the Methodist depositories , like Huntingdon College in Montgomery, may be able to help(?)
Good luck,
Otis Fuller
